Lip blushing involves creating an exceptionally soft and subtle outline of your lips with a lip color that best suits your skin coloring and desired look. This soft line is then blended and shaded when filling your lips with the pigment. By doing this, we are avoiding the “lined lip” look, and therefore creating the illusion of fuller, natural-looking lips.

Lip tattoos might take 10 to 14 days to recover as the pigment settles into its finished state. Your skin will be mildly sensitive throughout this period. Small scabs could form on your lips and fall off naturally, just like they would with a regular tattoo. If you remove the scabs intentionally, the colors will fade, just like a conventional tattoo. You will want to let them heal and fall off naturally. You should avoid getting any moisture on your brows during this period unless otherwise instructed in your aftercare instructions. You will need to refrain from going to the gym during this time and shower carefully, not to submerge the face/brows while they heal.
A numbing cream is applied to the lips and allowed to take effect over 20-30 minutes. Although discomfort and irritation from lip blushing vary from person to person, it is often less painful than a traditional tattoo. After a few minutes, you should be able to adjust without it completely affecting you.
